Remain Invisible On Facebook

the Charlevoix region. Arrival in Quebec

region Charlevoix is north of Montreal, along St. Lawrence one side and mountains of Laurentian other.
It has a terrain much gentler than its surrounding terrain is created by a meteorite impact some 350 000 million years ...

We settled in Baie St. Paul in a shelter run by Claude and Clement: sleeping Fleury we highly recommend! www.gitefleury.com
The village is beautiful, the banks of the St. Lawrence same, we let you enjoy the scenery ...

We then visited the Parc des Grands Jardins National Park preserved, where Bear Black, Caribou and Wolf is rub.

Footprints of a young Caribou and one adult

There are about 2 bears every 10km ² at the park, they gorge themselves in this time of Blueberries (Blueberries with us know!).

The park offers extensive gardens diverse ecosystem, and has a unique feature at this latitude : Taiga! P ar a combination of circumstances (fire forê t, cold, insect attack in days to come), the forest could not be rebuilt (Forest consisting mainly of black spruce - Norway spruce in French - and email Èze ), taiga normally present only beyond the 52 th parallel occurred in certain areas of the park.
